12' 997 Turbo S Good Deal?
I have been looking for a manual 997.1 or 997.2 and never had considered the 997 Turbo S in PDK but I recently came upon a 2012 Turbo S with 45k miles that I should be able to buy at right around $70,000. The car has a clean car fax and is in great condition. Is this a good deal for this car at that price? Also I am going to regret going PDK instead of 6 mt? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the deal of the day!

That sounds like scam territory. Have you seen it in person?

Yes, $70K for an $80-$90K car is a good deal, *if* there isn't a story or issues...

There's no way... no way. This will not pan out but I hope I'm wrong.
As for PDK, I love it, but you're not me. You better be sure you want an automatic, slushbox before buying one.
Good luck!

The only thing about the car that is not favorable is on carfax its had 6 owners. But 3 of them owned the car for less than couple of months each. The last owner was an older doc that just traded it in for an R8. He had it for last year and a half and put about 20K miles in that time. The car has service records from 3 different Porsche dealerships. I am going to try and see if I can setup a PPI tomorrow at a Porsche dealership prior to making the final decision as I am driving up to see it tomorrow AM.

Seems like a lot of owners in short duration. Post the link to the ad (if there is one) and carfax so we can take a closer look. PPI is definitely a wise decision, but may not catch everything.

I wouldnt be afraid of the owners but i would definitely buy the best aftermarket warranty you can get since youre saving so much upfront
