High mileage 997.1 TT, what would scare you away?

I am one of those drive until forever guys. My first long term car was a '90 Audi Coupe Quattro that I gave up with 335K miles on it. Currently I DD a '95.5 Audi S6 with over 200K on the clock and I have an '08 S6 with 180K.
As you can tell I am not afraid of high mileage. One caveat though is that I have put all of the miles on these cars and I do the proper maintenance and then some. I also drive my cars in a spirited manner, so no Sunday driving miles on those vehicles.
The 911 was the first used car I have purchased with 30K on the odometer, and was a chance I took since not all of the service records were available. I have been and will continue to wrench on it myself and plan on keeping it forever.

Semper Fi Sir...you have a damn fine toy chest (and the baddest of them is a freebie), worst thing in the world is to feel over extended. Having said all that, having been in The Corps and maxed the PFT, afterwards when I was in Engineering College I had a pretty damn good OCS offer on the table that I seriously considered (I was being offered Jets), but in the end I took the defense contractors big Engineer pay checks. Things turned out okay but I still kick myself for not rolling the dice and really go where my heart was...being a Fighter pilot.

Thanks gents. I will have more info on Saturday. Please let me know if there's anything I should be watching out for on my test drive and inspection that may specifically relate to the 997TT. Hope to drive it home!

If well maintained the should be a great purchase,. Insanely fast!!! My 08 Cab has 76,000 purchased last August a few minor issues mostly electrical PCM 2.1 failed and washer pump now the BRV's are needing replacement.
Get PPI with over rev report.
This 996TT has well over 570,000 miles
