Europipe Exhaust note
Hello,
I'm picking a 997.2TT soon and wanted to know what's people's experience with exhaust note from inside the cabin when driving at normal speeds. Is it fairly mellow? I've heard numerous clips online and everyone that owns it loves the note from outside especially at higher RPMs. Anyone in the Bay Area has one that I can listen to in person? Thanks! |
I have a europipe I and it is pretty mellow unless you are really hammering it. It is loudest on a cold start. Really high quality exhaust. |
Agreed. It doesn’t drone one bit either, so having a phone call via BT is a non-issue too. |
Appreciate the feedback! Good to know it won't drone out calls. Hopefully I can hear one in person before pulling the trigger!

I have a Europipe on my 997.2 TT 6MT and you're welcome to hear it. Almost 40K on my EP and no regrets. Do you live in Cupertino?

On my 997.2TT 6 speed not much difference inside the car (little more deep tone but no droning) except windows down and hard on the throttle in SPORT MODE.Outside the car it's more noticeably louder than stock especially on a cold start. |

Europipe under noise, agree with others that it is louder on start up and has no drone on normal driving. Is clearly louder than stock on WOT

Best exhausts for 997 turbo and 991 turbo both sound and quality by a country mile IMO. Have stage 2 Europipes on both 997 turbo and 991 turbo cab. The new 50 cel stage 2 Europipe they've released for 991 is very nice. Just touched the throttle on 991 after installing and almost jumped out of my seat it made such an aggressive sound compared to my 997.1 turbo!

Still trying to work out what to do with old coolers, springs, throttle bodies, wheels, y pipe etc. Any ideas welcome!
