Love it! Nice color on the 997 TT. What color is the interior?

Love it, I’m very jealous!. I’ve played with the idea of having my TT wrapped in a Slate or Nardo Gray type color.

Thanks all for the kind words.
Car interior is tan. Will be customized to alcantara black soon.
It was a complete tear down paint job.

Beautiful, no doubt it's one of the nicest TT's I've ever seen. Great job!

Gorgeous! What prompted this? What color before this? How much did you study, research, worry about this before you did it? It looks amazing.

Now I'm curious. Everyone obsesses about factory paint. But assuming this was done well (visually indistinguishable from factory quality), and given it was a tear-down paint job, would this affect the value of the car for you guys? To me, the positive of stunning, perfect appearance would roughly cancel out the only negative, which would be that some other guy might care when I want to sell. If we were talking about a really rare car it'd be another thing, but for a 997 I don't see it being an issue.

My opinion is if the paint is very well done, it's a plus. Older classics are often refreshed or totally repainted. Before the 'survivor' craze, it was never a negative but a positive to have a properly done paint job.

On newer cars, like our 997s, it'll inevitably be considered a negative by potential buyers and raise concerns about body damage. But, if done well and the color wasn't available from Porsche, then I think it's a positive, personally. No one balks when Singer changes the color...

Also curious of who painted it. Good shops are hard to come by!
