Got a SmartTop for Christmas!
Just got it installed. Took about 20 minutes, most of which was fiddling with the top stowage carpet to get at the module. Oh, and vacuuming up pine needles from same. As per their recommendation, I installed it with the mini-usb cable attached, and fed it out the side of the carpet (zip-tied to some other cords running that way), so I can easily do firmware updates in the future. Can't imagine needing to though, because it already does everything I wanted. Easy open and close from the keyfob, one touch open or close with windows up or down, plus other nice stuff like a beep when locking the doors. Love it! Not exactly convertible weather unfortunately, but at least I'll enjoy the beep on lock for the next few months...

Great mod. I loved that on my 997 TT cabriolet.

Got mine as an early Christmas present this year. It's great hearing the beeps, rather than standing in front to see lights flash when locking the car. Also, the windows down feature when dropping the top is great. One tap to open, one tap to close. Enjoy! I open the Cab year round here in Spring TX....

Summertime isn't that bad. Crank up the A/C, top down. Mornings are usually great, in the 80s, so it always makes for a great ride to the office. The top down, wind through my hair, roar of the turbos - damn the heat, full speed ahead...
