Default In the market for 997.2 Turbo - where to look?

I will be in the market soon for a 997.2 Turbo and want to ensure I'm researching in all the right places. I'm in Delaware, but willing to travel anywhere in the continental USA for the perfect car. I have saved searches on ebay, carmax, autotrader and check the Rennlist classifieds daily. I just stumbled upon the PCA classifieds the other day. Where else should I keep a lookout?

Must haves:
  • 997.2 Turbo Coupe
  • Manual transmission
  • Sport chrono package
  • GT Silver strongly preferred
  • Black leather interior (may be open black/gray)

You're probably aware that the .2 Turbos with a manual transmission are pretty rare, especially if you're picky on the color, so it could take a while to find one. It seems like a lot of people have good luck simply posting a WTB on the Rennlist or 6speed classifieds. That way the lurker out there who has your car could be persuaded by the prospect of a clean and easy sale.

Oh yeah, I realize I may be in for the long haul and that's okay. I think I read there were 488 total 997.2TT, subset of that made it to the USA, subset with manual, and so on. I'm sure a lot of these don't make it to the market because deals are done through networks, referrals, etc. But you're right, a WTB could persuade someone.

Not sure how accurate the Pors9 configurator is, but looks like 11 cars. Or 8 if I was locked into black leather only.

I appreciate it! I was just seeing how slim pickings got if I was stuck on GT Silver only.

Ask for James Barry. These guys are professional and the cars are top quality. I bought my 997.2 stick there a year ago....
these cars are very very hard to find.
