rear spolier question

rear spolier question
Hi all, couple weeks into ownership, just had this happen. Rear wing went up on the hwy then gave me a fault code and did not go down.
If I have to have it set in the down mode and leave it there is there a way to erase the fault code so the exclamation mark is not constantly red on my dash?
Alternatively, is there a dependable reliable fix to this?
My first thought was , *GT2 fixed wing!* lol

It's time to refill and bleed your wing assy with Pentosin. The wing didn't extend enough to trip the limit switch. This is due to fluid loss and thus not reaching the height.
Check your hydraulic wing cylinders for leaks. They can be rebuilt.

by the time I got to the shop, the red exclamation mark warning light came on and stayed on. Wing stayed extended.
I'll DM you as I think you sell the parts?

It can also be a micro switch that's on the passenger side ram. I have the same issue that's intermittent. I checked both of the rams and no indication of fluid loss.
b1x pull the caps off of the bottom of the rams and see if there is any fluid or traces of fluid in the area.

Another alternative is to ditch the hydraulics and go electric. https://rennkit.com/product-info/997turbo-eram/

Kev has the parts to fix... but I like the GT2 fixed wing idea.

I hope that was your issue. However, when I started having trouble with my spoiler last year, it would work sporadically - I might go a week without malfunction but it started occurring more and more often. Local dealer fixed mine for less than $300 and gave me 2 year warranty. I think Kevin's fix is definitely worth a look and if I have further issues I'm going that route. good luck!
