I had a Smarttop on my 996 Cabriolet and really miss it. The opening & closing on the 997 TT cab leaves a lot to be desired.

But my wait paid off - 2018 Black Friday special at mods4cars.org offering 15% off with the coupon code (good now until monday). I ordered one tonight. It will be nice to get back to the one click open / close, plus some additional features (the best will be not opening my frunk with the key in my pocket - which has happened many times already).

To this day the best upgrade I made on my 997.2 cabrio, among FVD tune, Europipe, and a myriad of expensive interior trim upgrades. I highly recommend it, and I have no dog in this hunt!

I had this on my 996 and loved it. The 997.2 allows me to open and close while moving which was important. Are there any additional features besides remote opening.

One touch open and close (so you can more easily do it while moving), open without rolling the windows back up, option to open or close all windows at once (when not operating the top), and option to blip the horn when locking are the ones I recall.

Got it installed. I love the key fob top open / close, as well as the beep (one on door open, two on door lock).
