Arrow Looking for Recommendations!

Currently, I have the following mods on my 997.2 Turbo S:
  • IPD plenum
  • IPD y-pipe
  • Speedtech 3.0 catless exhaust
  • Cobb ECU custom stage 2 tune
  • Cobb PDK tune
  • BMC air filter
I'm looking for some more "budget-friendly" power!

I was thinking about AMS intercoolers or headers, but I really want to get the most bang for the buck without breaking the bank!

All suggestions and recommendations welcome!

Intercoolers and injectors are the next logical step to go with your Cobb OTS tunes. That will get you to Cobb Stage 3.

A TPC DSC will help you put your already abundant power to the ground.

AMS ICs are fantastic. And the next bolt on that you need.

Doc - love your wheels and the black side inlets. Did you simply coat your OEM wheels black? Are the side inlets powder coated to match or are they carbon fiber, a bit hard to tell from the pictures. Nice mods too!

Headers, intercoolers and e85 tune

WARNING! once you go e85 you will never want pump gas again lol

The 997.2 fuel system is limited because of the DI fuel system. 600-650whp around what the stock system can take. Unless you want to go with a secondary fuel injector set up. I believe GIAC was working on some fuel systems for the .2 but havent seen them out there.

I had the wheels powdercoated gloss black. The side vents/inlets are actually carbon fiber.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Looks like I'll be going with the intercoolers and maybe headers. I'm really on the fence about upgrading to the methanol, so I think these 2 bolt-ons will do for now!

DSC and intercoolers. I'd personally skip the headers - lots of backup data on this topic with little increase in end result. Look into the GT3 intercoolers on this forum as part of your due diligence - many favor those OEM over aftermarket. Let us know your decision. Good luck!
