Default aero kit wing installed

thanks to rennlister SKYAK posting the link for this factory wing ,i was able to buy it from seller in pa. just got the car back from paint shop , i don't believe i had ever seen an actual car with the aero kit so i was not sure how it would look. must say that i like it, not too big ( gt 3 etc ) kind of sculptural and goes well with the turbo.

Nice tweaks to the car. Like the plate, but you might want to obscure it in future posts.

Only for your own privacy.

A little reading for you:

Should you obscure your license plate in pictures

Wow. Things are definitely different in the USA. I think most would struggle to elicit any real info from a plate here in NZ, other than the history of the car itself.

rear aero wing looks great but you may want to match it with the aero front lip, the lip is a little more aggressive makes for a good combo ,just my .02

thanks, actually aero front lip was standard with the car in 2013. i know it's recommended with the wing.

Oh boy...Wow! She looks sharp...awesome car...LOVE IT! Those gauges and the red lined wheels and centerlocks, a fine P car example. As for obscuring plates, I'm an old retired Engineer but also a U.S. Marine vet and a hunter and have a small arsenal in my closet...anyone who wants to look up my DMV and pay me a visit can just knock and I'll be glad to say Howdy.

That is a gorgeous TT P car...yeah the aerokit has tickled my fancy...I just had the factory front spoiler installed and am looking for the rear to complete the look. Fyi, Pelican parts lists 997-044-802-15 as special order from Germany $6,415.25...love the 25 cents. I am calling them tomorrow to see if it is actually available, but it is listed.

will be interesting to see if aero wing is available through pelican , when i mentioned that the wing was no longer available , the parts rep at local dealership seemed surprised claiming it could be replaced - accident etc. who knows ? GOOD LUCK ! if it is you'll have a $$$ decision to make but remember "someday never comes " .

Yes I agree it seems like a bit of a conundrum...I'm interested to see what Pelican says tomorrow. I believe the original part is 997-044-802-06 and the replacement part carries the ***-***-***-15 suffix. If they can order it I'm sure I have the 25 cents, I'll have to check on the $6,400 portion...haha.
