will be interesting to see if aero wing is available through pelican , when i mentioned that the wing was no longer available , the parts rep at local dealership seemed surprised claiming it could be replaced - accident etc. who knows ? GOOD LUCK ! if it is you'll have a $$$ decision to make but remember "someday never comes " .

I thought I had read somewhere that the parts could be replaced if damaged only for an original XAF factory build but not if the parts were put on later by an owner.

I also recall reading about people trying to get the OEM wing through Sunset and Suncoast, dealers whose parts departments have a lot of clout with Porsche in Germany, and being told they're officially No Longer Available.

Current Edit: Spoke with my Porsche Dealer (Porsche of Melbourne, Fl.) parts and he said it shows as not orderable. He was nice enough to say he would call Porsche and ask them what they recommend. I asked him what an owner does who wrecks his Aerokit car and he said Good Question and then suggested he call Porsche and get back to me. I will follow up with his update.

thanks to rennlister SKYAK posting the link for this factory wing ,i was able to buy it from seller in pa. just got the car back from paint shop , i don't believe i had ever seen an actual car with the aero kit so i was not sure how it would look. must say that i like it, not too big ( gt 3 etc ) kind of sculptural and goes well with the turbo.

thank you, i bought the primered script from the dealer and painted it myself. i used SEM brand paint from an auto paint supply. good quality- durable spray can #39143 "TRIM BLACK ". if you decide to paint the chrome script on your car a hair dryer helps loosen the double back tape using fish line or dental floss to get it off. the problem with reusing the old is you will have to cut small pieces of double back to place on back of the old script but will save you $128 for "turbo" and $ 32 for "s ".

Spoke with Pelican Parts Porsche specialist just now...they say No Go...it is officially discontinued. I will keep looking.

This is the only aftermarket one I have found:
https://nrauto.com/product/porsche-9...gine-lid-wing/
CarID has a painted and unpainted version for sale from D2S but they seem so unsure on what they are actually selling and can't produce a picture that they scared me off.
I should have my car back next week (talked to Sam last nite, he says they got past the issue they were seeing by lubricating the VTG actuator rod/linkage, so only the idle map remains for the 93 octane and apparently the E85 tune is a piece of cake) so I'll see what I think then...I have a suspicion I will like how she looks and may not jump in the nrauto aerokit right a way.

Thank you. I thought I might have to go down the "paint path" but from what I see on your car it makes a lot of sense to change from chrome to black script. My TTS is Speed Yellow and black and the only chrome that's visible is the script which frankly doesn't stand out. Painting it black will make a huge difference. I also purchased the black 911 Turbo S decals from Suncoast and had those installed on the door panels near the lower front. They are the same decals that come on the 991.2 TT's and TTS's.

Spoke with my Porsche dealer again...he said Porsche says the part is not available and if you have a wrecked aerokit car you would have to source the rear decklid/wing from a different source or presumably go to another Porsche decklid that would fit.

I'm not sure if this is still the case but I know I have done it chasing a bad debt a few years back.
Freaky ay..
