Default HELP! thoughts? Rodent damage/ engine drop

I had a mouse get in my engine bay and eat the wires down to nubs/loom on oil pressure sensor. He also ate some of the EGR and oil level/temp wires.

Given the location of this on the 997TT, I believe the engine will have to be dropped to get to the wires.

What should I have done while it's out? I just did a tune-up 5k miles ago.

I think insurance will cover the drop, less my deductible.

I know about coolant pipes, but what else??

Thanks in advance.

Two sets of coolant issues. The epoxy issue with the coolant jackets and the plastic fittings under the oil cooler. I replaced the plastic ones with these from Sharkwerks-

My guess is probably the sweet coolant was irresistible for the rodent. It probably died a few days later. Food for thought no pun intended.

I didn't have a coolant leak, that was noted as precautionary since the engine is out.

However... porsche uses soy wire coating that rodents love.

Only needed If you have increased your horsepower with a throttle body, mass flow, free flow exhaust, bigger turbos or performance software, more fuel is needed. You can adjust the fuel pressure higher to give you the fuel necessary to gain maximum horsepower. The result is quicker acceleration and better throttle response. Also, you may have to increase the fuel injector size.

Well that dirty rat caused some damage.

It's going to require a brand new wire harness. Insurance is paying $4,500 and I'm paying $1,000 deductible plus other stuff I'm having done.

I guess it's a bad news good news situation, since I can have things done and not pay for the drop.

This experience is perplexing, as the car is a daily driver. It must have been extremely hungry to do that overnight.

its just a band aid to inc the fpr. better to do injectors and get the proper flow. forcing more fuel thru a smaller injector only adds about 5% flow
