Default Thoughts on this DME Report?

I know some of you swear by it and others don't really care. With that being said, I found a 2007 997 Turbo, manual with around 65500 miles that I really like.
The problem is that the over rev report to me looks pretty bad and want to hear your opinions. I'm fairly new at reading these so hopefully someone can correct me if my calculations are off...
Obviously if you care about over revs, you'll tell me to run from it. I'm interested to see if you're one of those guys who doesn't care about it. Would you still consider this car after seeing this report?
Also, how would you rate this report compared to others on a scale 1-10 (with 10 being the worse one you've seen)?

The car has exhaust, intake and COBB Stage 2 tune. PPI was good other than catalyst converter bank 1 faulty and secondary air system bank 1 faulty. Dealer mentioned it maybe because of the aftermarket parts.
They forgot to provide me with the total operation hours but I believe it is in 2230ish hours

Thanks!

I'd say I'm one of the more vocal "don't care" guys here, but boy, those are some big numbers. You don't often see ranges 2-3 so filled out. I assume it has a tune that raised the rev limiter? The range 5s and latest range 3/4s are somewhat recent, so they'd give me pause because the engine has been stressed pretty hard. Was it a track car, and does it have good maintenance records?

At the end of the day, though, I'd still say, assuming it passes a thorough PPI and runs strong, that you probably won't actually run into any issues. It's certainly a good bargaining chip, especially with the hassle in reselling it down the line.

Yes, it has a COBB tune on it.
It's a 3 owner car. The current owner took it to the track once within the last 2K miles but not sure about previous owners. I have almost all of the maintenance records from the 1st owner and the current owner. The last two owners only put 3k miles on the car each.

Kinda agree w/ Skwerl, never seen a range 2 approaching being maxed out.. That car has been driven hard. over 9K in range 4? If the TT is 2230, thats only 14 hours since the last range 4..

Of all the ones posted that I've seen in the past 5 years, I'd rate this one as a 8.5 or 9. Still may be okay, but if it were me I'd negotiate a discount or look into a powertrain warranty (if you still can get one at 65K miles)

If it was a saddle, we would say ridden hard and put away wet. Me, I do not like that report much. I would pass, but if you like the car, use it to negotiate a lower price or warranty as mentioned above.

At the very least, and assuming it's running well, this car does serve as further evidence that these Mezgers can take abuse and don't just start bending valves and snapping rods if you decide to run them hard. It puts a lot of the other milder DME reports we always see in perspective, and also the claims that a TT with a sprinkling of range 4s is at death's door.

the over revs are a result of the tune- which generally raises the redline by a decent margin- I would assume a Stage 2 tune takes the RPM limit up 400-500 and gives you 50-70 more HP...

All that being said, still running a testament to durability. Think of it as a stress test on your system.
