Default Help with car value

First post, thanks for your help ahead of time. I was hoping to get an idea of a fair purchase price for a car. 2011 997.2tt, 6mt, 37k miles, coupe, good condition, single owner. There are very few for sale and it’s hard to find comps.

997.2 manuals are indeed rare. I would guess $80-90k, maybe more depending upon options, color etc.

These are currently selling for good money which was the primary reason I sold mine a couple months ago, 2011 manual in Guards red. For reference, I sold mine for about $110k. It had 29k miles and all desirable options except pccbs. Dealers were offering me anywhere from 70-85k on trade.

Adaptive Sport Seats? Sport Chrono? I think the 2011 Manual Coupe is one of 175 made that year. If fairly meticulous condition, I would guess $95 - $99K

Wow, you did really well on that one. I wouldn't have guessed a .2 would go over $100k unless it were a museum piece.

In July of this year, I bought my 2011 997.2TT, coupe, 6MT, 38K miles, 4 new tires, black/grey leather interior; with all options to include adaptive seats, PTV, and sports chrono, but no PCCBs; great condition, multiple owners, and Basalt Black for 93K. Had it delivered to local Porsche dealer and they said nothing was wrong with it and said I did good. Like you said, few are out there. I assume you will get a PPI prior to making your decision.

I think mine had a few factors that helped swing it upwards - Being red, it made it a little rarer of a find to a buyer who didn’t want black, white or silver; it was in pristine condition with ppf and ceramic pro; touches like red seat backs and belts really made the interior delicious!; and it had key options like sport seats, sports chrono turbo, and PTV/rear diff. Lastly, putting it on consignment really helped. Cost me a few grand but still well worth it compared to trading it in. It’s like having your own sports agent to sell your car. And in my case, he had a pristine 996 Turbo with 11k miles that I wanted and was able to work out a trade to save taxes but also still get full retail for my car vs trade in value. I really loved the 997 but the roughly $45k net cash differential including tax savings was hard to ignore for a car that I really enjoy just as much. Miss those red seat backs though, haha.

I have never shopped a 997.2 in that late a model year. All I can say is I paid $85K for mine in August...997.1 TT OEM, 6 speed, sports shifter, full leather, Nav., sports adaptive seats, Sports Chrono, 20K miles...paint is beautiful and interior is like new. You pay a premium for manuals, and of course mileage = $$$ and OEM or lightly/tastefully modified carry a premium. Good luck.
