Default bought an 07 TT

Hey guys,

Havent had a 997TT before had 2 996TTs and a few other cars....
Bought this one few weeks ago... gonna be removing the custom headers, Kline exhaust and Fabspeed intake. and go back STG1..
have an appt at Porsche to reflash to stock the ECU was locked with a file... I will have it re-tuned once the stock parts are in.. the headers kinda hanging a bit too low...the cars not even lowered yet and front scrapping everywhere....
Anyone know the car? the tail, front lip and wheels are great...not the center caps..lol!
a few belmished like the cluster display, temp control which is normal.. I will change the steering wheel soon to the PDK one..
here are some pics i just removed the tint...lol

Looks like a nice one, hard to beat a silver 997 TT...but why not keep the kline exhaust? That is a top shelf exhaust system. I'm not sure what the wheels are, are they supposed to look like centerlock? Now that is a bit odd. Yeah the front spoiler (CF?) looks good but it definitely sticks out there...if it was mine here in flatland (Cocoa Beach) I'd keep the spoilers, the exhaust and get new wheels and stock exhaust manifold/headers and contact Sam at ByDesign Automotive for a new tune via Cobb autosport then declare victory and move on.

i'll check the exhaust again with stock manifolds, pretty drony for me especially with this bay area traffic...

As already stated, I think you’re crazy to get rid of the Kline. Easily one of the best exhausts for the car. I also wouldn’t go back to a stock flash. Get Sam to sort you out on the ECU software. I would ditch the rear wing, but that is personal preference. Your wheels are a mesh style like the CH-R, but are they BBS? They don’t look like my black CH-Rs. (Never mind I see the BBS bossing. Guess it’s just the center caps and the much more aggressive concavity of my wheels).

Congrats! Great looking TT.

I love the wheels & exhaust but I also understand wanting to go back to stock.

Nice ride!! love your car... I agree with the tail a bit big.... same with the engine mods not up to my taste... Ive been modding for awhile..
i dont even know who Sam is Ive had to search..haha... sorry Ive only used giac, evoms, promotive, sharkwerks and techart... old school guy..
.. will try the Kline with stock headers and see if my mind changed...... ive just ordered the CH-R center caps...
also the ECU is locked and has a file on it , car is not as smooth as evomit or softronic so not sure what tune is on it.. so having Porsche load
the stock file then will look for retuning.. Im reading good things about Sam.. so i'll keep him in mind.

Sam is the best in the business and provides amazing customer service , Even if you don't decide to add the COBB he can answer all of your questions. Just did many mods to my car along with a custom tune and E-85.

Got my tune today from Sharkwerks.. Local to me and been using them since they started... Evomsit tune made a whole lot of differences linear, smoother and lots of power...
installed the regular bbs center caps.. but the old one is actually better qualify... lol.. and daughter loves it...
