Default Heading down a slippery slope when I saw this 2012 TT Coupe at Porsche Fresno today

Have been looking lately, but mostly at 2009-2013 911's in the Base and S trims. Some Cabs and some Coupes. I did look at a 2008 TT Cab a while back, but passed on it. Then I happen to come across this 2012 TT Coupe at Porsche Fresno today, a dealership I've heard good things about on this forum. A bit more than I want to spend but it does look nice in Platinum Silver. Not sure if the pricing is in line at $85,000, or if the mileage is a bit high at 47,000 for a 2012 TT. Carfax looks O.K. and it looks like they've had it for a while. Any thoughts appreciated about the dealer or the details on the car. Definitely could be a slippery slope I'm heading down when I clicked on this one. Thanks.

I paid $85K for my 2007 a couple months ago...it had 21K miles...the pricing is all about the mileage, and for a manual you pay a premium, but $85K for a 45K 2012 sounds pretty good to me.

Agree, if you're getting a .2 Turbo with PDK, might as well spend a few bucks more for the S.

A .2 with a manual would be a different conversation.

^ this...

My 2012 Turbo S is coming up for sale soon, one of the cleanest, nicest S cars in the country. You would look good in it...best slippery slope you could hope to slide on.
Stay tuned or PM for advance pricing and details.

There's nothing to think about. The price is good, the car is perfect, if you love the car, just get it but be sure not to think, just buy.

Unless... you want a Turbo S.

If not, you aren't going to do much better than this car.

So what if it's more than you wanted to spend. It always is more than we want to spend but we buy them anyway because the stock market sucks this week and cars rock.

End of story. Just get it. You'll be SO glad you did.

Ignoring the transmission choice, my only concern with that car would be the seats. Like most everything, they can be changed out though.

Looked again at the car and seats. Would be interested to know why there is concern about the seats. Not the sportier ones?
