If I was going thru all that trouble I would consider going aftermarket. here is an alpine nav/radio that is blue tooth and Sirius compatible....it is made for a Bose system but they address installing it in a non Bose 997. https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/bo...-track-source/

I have a PCM 2.1 for sale with the Bose amp and I have had a few interested parties asking whether they could install the unit in their P-car that came without nav.

Don't you need the NAV DVD player in the frunk for NAV to have a chance of working?

Hello yes you can install PCM 2.1 to car without bose amplifier ,each PCM 2.1 has amplifier built in and can work without amplfier or can also work with ASK sound package amplifier but in 997 can be also amplifier only for front speaker (bass speakers in door) and one centre in dash board on top , You have many options but I'm sure that you can do this without problems .
