264 with package and 121 with sand beige gauges. How many with both? Mine might be kinda a rare setup.

Yeah that was it the Sycamore packages...it looked stunning and very classy I thought, had it been a manual I would have snapped it up....but I agree with others that wood in a 997 TT can be a bit off putting too.

That color combination, especially with the tan guages, is extremely HOT. Love it !

Thanks man! One of the reasons I bought it. Had no idea they were individual options or even what they were called. I sat in it, saw the gauges and said "yep, this is the one" lol Love how the wheel feels.

Oh man, that's beautiful. Have never seen the tan gauges either. Like each of us with our cars, we have our opinions and preferences. The full makasser trim package is just a dream for me - wish my car had it. Like 4Lux, I suspect wood trim might be challenged in the Arizona heat.

The tan gauges are kind of hard to read, when they are not lighted. I knew it had to be a low production option, beings it had to be special ordered. But, only 121 997.1TT with tan gauges, another bit of info I will use to keep me from selling my car!!!

I think mine looks WAY better than that one.

Wood accent pieces in a 911 Turbo. Whoa. Wow. I have to say, I've never seen this in person. It's not something I personally would ever get but the pics sure are interesting. Thanks for posting!

Thumbs up Lighter weight, less filling

One of the primary reasons that wood trim is used is that it is lighter than leather. Density of sycamore is about 50% less than leather, so you manage to shave off a few precious grams by selecting wood trim. In effect, that gives you a much faster car.

Density
Material (kg/m3) // (lb/ft3)
Sycamore 0.4 – 0.6 // 24 – 37
Leather, dry 0.86 // 54

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

I just picked up my 2006 C4S that lists 801 Makassar Package. I only have the wood dash trim, shift **** and brake lever. Cost is listed at only $890. I see pics of more wood trim. Is it possible that there were different trim levels? As far as I know, my interior is 100% original.

Here are a few of my Turbo w/ Black interior. Not something I would have ever picked myself, but I absolutely love it now.

From the options book (2009) There were four packages for the wood trim. I've copied them below...
