Default 997 Turbo Cabriolet - Side mirrors changing position

I have noticed that my 997 Turbo Cab side mirrors seem to change position regularly without my intervention. And when I say regularly, I pretty much need to readjust them every time I drive the car. I took the car in but the dealership could not figure out the issue. Anyone else have this anomaly?

Could it be that the seat and mirror memory has been programmed to your key, and every time you unlock the car it reverts to the settings saved in memory? Does it do this with both keys? Does it happen if you don't lock the car and unlock it with the key fob?

I concur with Dennis. It sounds like the key and memory are at odds. Remember that Memory 1 is for the key in the ignition and used to set that key. You have to actually save seat settings to memory to 2 or 3. Memory 1 is used to program up to 7 keys... As a new owner, I've recently gone through the litany of figuring this all out and finally getting my key fobs set up correctly.

+2 above - odd...the dealer should have tutored you on this process and its pretty easy to learn once you fiddle with it and understand the paths. If there is ultimately some other root cause for the random settings adjustment, please do post.

Adjust everything to your liking and save it to memory 1.
