I installed my EP1 (signed by Stef) this week along with new plugs, coils and air filter. Thanks to "The Rock" for his plug/coil replacement post although it wasn't necessary to lower the engine. Among other tools supplied by Stef, wires and anti seize, the short bent 13mm wrench was the only way to access the upper inside turbo studs since the new cats are a larger diameter than the stock ones. I'm glad I didn't need to take a torch to one of my Snap-On wrenches! It all bolted up well and Stef was available if I ran into any snags which I didn't. I tipped it off with Fabspeed black chrome quad tips, they fit very well. Next step is to do some data logging so Kevin can create a tune for me. I'm thinking about doing four wheel dyno sessions before and after the tuning. I installed the Agency Power roll bar yesterday, Damn that was a tight fit!

Good job
It's nice to have engaged in the exercise of disassembly/reassembly, isn't it? Understanding the home for pieces/bolts/nuts/screws back there. I lowered my engine ~3cm though, and this made changing plugs a snap. No doubt a much longer exercise w/o "The Rocks" tutorial.
Would like to hear a quick video clip...
You mention you changed plugs...with a tuner (your next planned upgrade), often you need to drop down one plug heat range. I went to the NGK Iridium-IX BRK7EIX 2667 along with my ECU flash. Apparently with a tune you can experience a misfire at about 4000 RPM under load. Your tuner will guide you along, but hopefully you don't need another plug swap! If you do, well, you're a pro now ;-)

Stef builds a really incredible setup. I have the EP1 with stock tips and UMW tune to tie it all together. I also installed Bosch F5DPOR plugs while I was in there, but kept the coils as they were fairly new (<10k miles) and looked great. The sound is intoxicating, and Kevin's tune is absolutely perfect! Smoother running and just so damn fast..... Enjoy it!!! I've set off car alarms in the parking garage at work....
I didn't get the 13mm bent wrench in the tool box so I picked up a set of open-ended sockets and wobbly extensions to reach in there. Helped with torquing it down too.

I love the cold start in my garage every morning. The colder the better.

I have the FVD tune with stock OEM plugs and coils no issues. Run Sunoco GT 260 Plus unleaded. Smells great and runs like a beast. $73.00/5gallons, try it you will like it.

I have the stage 2, car sounds better than the local GT3 on the same street. I bought mine used, and full of oil from a guy who blew up a turbocharger. Cleaned it out, bolted it on, drove for two days laying a smokescreen, then perfect.
Best sounding TT exhaust out there bar none.
