Default Spark plug coils..stay with OEM or?

I'm about to do my plugs again on my 07TT and the coils are original. Want to replace them with an upgrade from stock.. I know there are some high performance coils out there..My car has a tune and exhaust..Are there aftermarket coils worth buying or is it a waste of money? Would love to hear your feedback on this..

Thanks as always..

Phillip

I’m interested in people’s thoughts on this too.

I have a UMW tune and Kevin suggested NGK PFR7B plugs gapped to 0.25". I used Beru coil packs. No issues whatsoever, car runs like a bat out of hell.

Plenty of dialogue on forums herein...here is one: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...oil-packs.html
I just swapped my plugs and didn't bother with coils - probably should have changed them given 46K miles.
As a backup, call a couple of your local tuners for final feedback.
Just my two bits...

Change my this summer to OEM Beru Coil pack and sparkplugs. No problem with the car now. I've heard that other "noname" or cheap coils do not work so well.
I bought this coil:https://www.design911.co.uk/fu/prod1...-996-GT3-MKII/
