Default Brakes

I'm curious what the best place to find slotted rotors, not cross drilled ones and what pads people are running on the street. I am looking to improve the feel / performance for my currently very OE setup. My car does not have PCCB.

Lot's of choices out there. I'm cheap and new to porsche in January. Always used stoptech for my e46m3, but only found drilled. Found these slotted Sebro's at partsGeek. Didn't want drilled because I do some DEs. Drilled were cheaper though. I'm running them on street with centric, semi-metallic posi-quiet pads $56 at tirerack, very little dust and fine for me and with pfc08s at the track. Found some centric rear slotted for $36 each. Actually on the car now, but realized they were not coated after I got them and, duh, hot as pretty as coated. Could be much worse, but coated is the way to go.

Works for me.

Girodisc offers slotted rotors but they are not cheap.

90% street, though I would like to be able to get into autoX or maybe be able to run a few laps at the track. I've never done either. I feel like there could be better initial bite and better over all stopping force / feel / performance as a whole. The pedal is not spongy but I would say it feels muted, especially once hot.

I just bought new brakes for my car and decided to go with all OEM parts (discs and pads, sensors are still fine). It was around $1400 including new caliper bolts at all 4 corners from Suncoast Porsche. Not that bad considering the costs of many other parts for this car.

If you have Centerlocks your options are different.
