So, I just noticed something last night. I recently ordered some magnagrafik magnetic stone guards for my turbo. I was messing around and tried sticking them on other parts of the car to see how well they stick and to my surprise they DID not stick to the driver or passenger car doors at all. So naturally I'm thinking WTF and try sticking it on my 997 C2 doors and to my surprise it sticks.

So my question is, are the 2008 997 turbo doors different than the 2006 997 C2 doors?

Aluminum doors. I know the 997GT3RS has them and the Turbos do as well. "Regular" 997s have steel doors.

Yes turbo doors are aluminum

Yes bonnet/hoods are also aluminum.

Wait a minute, my 2012 Turbo has aluminum doors and hood? Really? I never heard of that before.
