Default Change from lightweight flywheel and competition clutch back to stock

Looking at a 997tt 6 speed with a lightweight flywheel and heavy duty clutch. What would I expect to pay to get it back to stock? Also is the clutch and flywheel in it now worth anything with 5k miles on them?

Clutchmaster FX400 clutch is in there now.

clutch will be about 1500-1700 flywheel will be 1000 plus labor is around 8 hrs and used clutch is what you can get for it. figure less than .50 on the dollar

you can keep the flywheel and get a oem gt3 style clutch to match to it save some coin

i do think the flywheel changed in the .2 and .1: 9G1 vs 997 part number for OEM at least. Costs seemed higher for the .2/9G1 around 1500. Not sure what the LUK part number difference is on those (if there actually is one).

Its a 997.1

So roughly 3kish for the new parts installed and then sell the lightweight flywheel and clutch for 500-800?

may be other things while you're in there, main seal, slave cylinder, throwout bearing, bolts, misc parts, could add a bit more ~1k depending on the situation but yeah probably somewhere in there. mine was more but .2 and all these things i mentioned.

I think I am going to try to get the pedal softer before I change this one out.

I liked the single mass flywheel with mezger. Might want to try it out b/f committing to swap.

LWFW make alot of noise Friend has one and I could never live with that rattle.

I run the protomotive twin disc with the LWFW and its awesome. Twin disc gives it more mass so there is no rattle

I loved the sound in my 6 turbo. 964 RS single mass flywheel. (Kevins clutch kit) Some people hate it. ^ obviously.
Its a mechanical rattle sort of. Again, I liked the sound. And it only really appears at idle.

Let me know if you sell your used parts. Can keep them aside for next time I get fidelity to cover something with the engine out.

For those that have a lighter flywheel, do you notice a significant change in acceleration with the revs climbing faster? With the 3in catless exhaust I don't care about noise obviously.

IF done correctly the crank pulley should also be changed and so should the clutch's slave master (go to a GT2RS-type).

+1 definitely on the crank pulley. The slave I guess to minimize the risk of stalling?

Greater clutch pedal feel...IMHO the Turbo's assisted clutch pedal is too soft and vague. It'll change the driving experience, for the better as far as I'm concerned.
