Hi and Welcome! (assuming by post count that you are new-ish here)
I have a 997.1TT with an EP2 out in the Agoura/Calabasas area. I'm not personally aware of any EP1 owners around LA but there must be some! I feel your pain as I went thru the same thing a couple years ago. It's so tough and risky to make an exhaust choice based just on Youtube videos and web reviews.
Dialog with Stef @ Europipe is what led me to stick with my EP2 decision vs. the EP1. That said, if my car were a daily-driver and/or if I lived in a crowded city or had sensitive neighbors - I'd go with the EP1. The EP2 is seriously aggressive which is what I wanted for a pure fun/weekend car.
