Just picked up this beauty recently. Stock car for the most part, except for a long list of engine work done at Protomotive. Got the chance to meet Protomotive's owner, Todd, as I drove the car home. Super knowledgeable guy who doesn't do the self-promotion angle, thus there isn't much heard about his work on the forums, but from my limited time with the car, he gets nothing but positive feedback from me.

So my question - I'd like to get max grip from my tires while keeping stock suspension, street alignment, ride height, and brakes in place. So I'm looking at this:
Front: 19x9 with 255/35/19 (26.0 diameter)
Rear: 19x12 with 325/30/19 (26.7 diameter)

As best as I can tell from searching forums, the rears should be OK. I'm not sure about the fronts though. If that tire is too big, how will that problem manifest itself? If it's just rubbing the liner when the wheel is fully turned, I can live with that, I'll just avoid turning the steering wheel to lock. Or will the tire hit the fender when the suspension is compressed?

What are the best offsets for this combo?

I'm running the Techart GTS wheels (20 inch wheels). Tires on front are 245/30/20 and tires on back are 325/25/20. They are stretched and aligned perfectly in my opinion.

Yes, the engine has been bored/sleeved to 3.9 l plus a whole bunch of other stuff. 600 hp on 93 and 800 on E85. Too bad there is no E85 anywhere in my state! My prior car was a lightly modded '99 Viper ACR. This car is noticably faster, even on premium.

I'll keep that in mind, haven't yet decided if I should keep them for winter tires.



Anybody running 255s on the front? I didn't find much via the search function, as most everybody who's modding wheels also seems to be modding suspension parts and alignment. Not quite ready to go that far yet....
