From another post
Purchased an 08 TT Cab, 15k miles, 6 sp manual black exterior with terra-cotta interior for $77k about 1.5 years ago. Things I have done:
1) Lowered HRE springs
2) SpeedTech 2.5 quiet exhaust
3) Spacers done today
4) Hydraulic top cylinders
5) Full wheel alignment
Has 17k miles now and does not get driven enough. I travel quite a bit, but enjoy the heck out of it every moment I get.

2008 997.1tt GT Silver with black interior, 6MT - 47,000 miles. Things I have done since purchase:
1) Adaptive Sport Seat retrofit
2) 997.2 Sport Design Steering Wheel retrofit
3) Dension 500S BT retrofit
4) Dectane LED 997.2 style tail lights
5) FabSpeed Quad tips
6) 6000k Phillips OSRAM HID
7) 6000k HID fog light retrofit
8) LED Tail lights
9) Sprint booster
10) Rennline aluminum pedals (full set)
11) V1 hardwire for V1 radar detector
At time of purchase my car had 35k on the odometer so I have put 12k on her in two years of ownership... the car also came with K40 installed. I plan to drive my car and really enjoy everything this car has to offer... what a beautiful machine!!

Not the best pic. 2009 6 MT. Just about to turn 17K miles. Got it 9 months ago. Been good to me so far - did the 30K service recently - wish the AC blasted a bit more cold air.
Mods:
Europipe Stage 2 Exhaust
Clear side indicators
Huber Optik tint
Ceramic coating
UMW Tune (In process once I get a windows PC)
Turbo II wheels
Not much else planned for it beyond that. I have had many coupes and a few convertibles. I love this car in a cab.

Hi farisad,
Thanks. Speedy Gonzales is really sweet and clean.
Original springs have more throw to them so tends to feel bouncier. The HRE or others are adjustable and definitely feel much better and have a much more controlled ride. No issue with sport setting on the TT, just a bit firmer when engaged.
The look is is much better as you get rid of the large amount of wheel well space. Lastly I have installed wheel spacers recently, see my post "Speedy gets Spacers" that I posted over the weekend.

Mine is at 38K mi as of May 2018. Purchased in March 2014 with 22K mi as a totally stock CPO car in damn fine condition. As of Oct 2015 I have not had a weekday commute to speak of, so now the car is purely for fun. I really need to drive it more.

2009 TT, MT. Daily driver. Bought it new a little over 9 years ago. 45K on the clock. (Moving my office 1.6 miles from home 8 years ago (vs. 12 miles to downtown L.A.) helps keep the mileage down.)
