Default 997.2 Turbo Coupe Rear Wing

Does anyone know how to permanently raise the rear wing? Will it cause any damage, if I fit two black grommets around the two posts that raise the wing? Thank you.

I am not a mechanic but something tells me if you place two grommets around the posts the motor that raises and lowers the spoiler will most certainly burn out as it tries to retract without success. But the upside is that when that happens it would most certainly be raised permanently.

You can put it up, and then code the spoiler out using a Durametric. This will achieve what you want but will likely cause the seals in the hydraulic rams to fail over time as they'll be under load permanently. Best option would be to remove the rams and use the simple kit that bolts in and keeps them up.

Something like this https://m.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-997TT...bmodel%3ATurbo
