Looks just like my current car, so I very quickly wired my money so I could have a second one parked in my garage for cheap money. I'm so excited! I hope it shows up next week as promised.

Either it has lived underwater It's entire life or it is a scam.

Wouldn't a scammer have more success if they listed it for something that was actually reasonable? Like $65k is a steal of a deal, but not so good as to tickle your spidey-senses. SMH

Yup if that is for real then somebody needs to go buy it like yesterday before the seller catches on.

It does say "RWD" (rear wheel drive) which in my book supports the scam theory...

I mentioned it in the other scam thread, but the theory I've heard is that absurdly low prices like this help filter out more savvy buyers who will catch on to the scam. Basically, if you're dumb enough to fall for a ridiculous price, you're more likely to end up actually sending money and with less work instead of wasting the scammer's time.

Scammers rarely put the VIN in because google will find the cars actual location in a heartbeat. I've been seeing a lot of the "I am in the UK and send me money through Edmunds.com" scams lately, but according to the real Edmunds this scam has been going on for years.

Hey now, I'm a pilot and when I was deployed contacted the previous owner of my car only through email!! And most other people.

Hell I wired him money after the ppi without ever speaking to him on the phone haha.
