The patently ludicrous price helps filter out people with brain cells who could figure out the scam. From the scammer's point of view, anyone who thinks that ad is legit is an easy mark to dupe.

I like the idea of reporting these nut jobs, but they pop back up somewhere else quickly. I remember one from Florida where the owner of the car identified his own turbo in one of these ads. If the first correspondence involves wiring money, threaten to call the BBB and other Government agencies then go black.

I don't know. Sounds pretty Legit to me! I am thinking about picking this beauty up! ...Haha.
In the past, I have messed with these scammers by acting dumb, and when they ask for a wire transfer I tell them I sent it and they keep wanting the number
and I just keep saying yeah...I sent it...They get so frustrated that I do not understand how to get them the transaction ID...and think they really have money sitting somewhere.
My little slice of joy....and keeps them tied up so they can take advantage of others....
