PTS cars - When you need body part replacements
I am curious about this since one day I may find myself getting a PTS car. Is it difficult to get the painted parts and how long is the wait? What about those rare colors? Accidents can and will happen unless the car never gets driven. Has anyone with a PTS car experience this?

What parts come pre-painted?
PTS colours have a paint code just like any other. Paint shops don't have a bunch of jars filled with every imaginable colour. They either mix them in house or order them the right colour. Even without a paint code, most paint shops can match a colour as sometimes the colour won't be as it was originally anymore anyway.
This isn't an issue unless you've got some special process colour like the liquid metal 918's or those fancy Saffron Turbos.

We can paint interior and exterior trim parts in nearly any finish, anytime. But body panels (hoods, fenders, doors, etc) should be done in a pro shop environment with the car present. Don't let it scare you. Order what you want, the way you want it.
