SOUL | 997.2 Turbo Exhaust Suite

DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING: We wanted to get as aggressive as possible while minimizing drone – greater volume with a greater amount of pops and burbles on deceleration. Support for high power was another consideration – necessitating 3″ tubing. We experimented with adding a mixing chamber into our X-pipe design. Analysis in 3D CAD software showed a general increase in velocity gained downstream of the mixing chamber across a band of measured pressure and temperature levels. This produces optimal flow characteristics, reduced backpressure for higher HP, and enhances the sound quality of the system. Our exhaust includes quad race resonators which make a discernible difference in reducing drone while encouraging a more refined exhaust note.

POWER: Third party testing was performed on a Mustang Dyno at R/T Tuning. Baseline power with SOUL Competition X-Pipe Exhaust System and a COBB off the shelf map was 554 whp and 642 ft-lbs of torque. A custom tune pushed power to 562 whp and 631 ft-lbs of torque with significant gains from midrange all the way through to redline!
SOUND: The 997.2 ushered in a new level of refinement to the 911 with a nice increase in cabin quality. The exhaust makes itself known in the cabin without being overly aggressive – you have to try very hard to make the system drone. You’ll be treated to a greater presence from the turbos and a bolder flat six engine note. Both catless and catted versions are great options for the daily driven vehicle.

Choose from several hand finished tip options to get the look that suits your 997.2 the best – or reuse your factory tips. Simply tighten the included Mikalor Supra Heavy-Duty T-bolt clamps – which provide adequate clamping forces around the entire exhaust pipe. "Can I do a custom logo?"
Absolutely! A custom one color logo can be done for an extra $50 (artwork setup / application fee) or only $25 for a PORSCHE logo. We can also forgo the logo if you desire.
"How does the finish hold up?"
The raw T321 stainless steel will turn a gold color over time due to heat. Coated tips will maintain their color.
"Is black available?"
Satin black is available. The tips are done in a PVD black finish with matte black finish and polished chrome logo - or no logo. PVD coating is done in batches every 1-3 months so there will be a slight delay in getting them. The cost for PVD coating is $150 on top of the tips.

"What about ceramic coating?"
Sure thing, we can ship your tips / exhaust directly to Jet-Hot for extreme heat coating in a color of your choice at a negotiated discount rate. Contact us for quotes.

We're ramping our capabilities and looking at different tip options. We're looking at the possibility of 3D metal printing various outlets and flanges - I hope we can craft something for you in time.
