Default Dreaded Check Engine Lite

So while going to lunch my check engine lite came on kinda figured it might be the gas cap. At lunch removed the cap and reinstalled hoping this was the problem. Back at my building I used my icarsoft for a diagnosis

Here's some infrom from a 997.1.
Not a turbo, but still could be helpful on what it could be.

I recently fixed an evap issue on my car, was the solenoid/hose that connect to the back on the plennum, although mine was a code that stated it was a gross leak..

,Finalizing this thread with what has transpired
I had my Indy shop look into the CEL and whether my warranty covered it. He confirm that my warranty would cover the part but he was not able to do the work as he stated that it would need to be coded by Porsche. BTW he charged me nothing for his service even when I insisted, that is twice he has done this for me.
Proceed to make an appointment for the local Porsche dealership to correct my CEL. Was surprised that they had a spot a couple days away where just a week or two before i had to wait 2 weeks to get my new key coded. While my Car was in the Porsche dealership getting my key coded they informed me that my right CV boot was cracked also.
Delivered my car to the dealership and informed the service writer that I had an extended warranty and that the part that need to be replaced was covered. got the basic 195.00 diagnostic estimate and I gave the service writer my warranty information. A week later after conversing with my warranty company my CEL was fixed. Cv boot was replaced and my lower horn tone was replaced. I was just paying my deductible.
All in all not a bad experience did take a week to get completed.
BTW my Icarsoft did diagnose the same code the Porsche mechanic got.

Appreciate the update, nothing's more frustrating than troubleshooting a problem and only finding an old abandoned forums post with no resolution.

Yea I see a lot of resurrected post where some one post about a conclusion so I thought I would do my part. So my synopsis on the CEL is even if i had to pay out of pocket the cost would have been 340 dollars or so what I don't understand is the coding that was involved.

What extended warranty do you have?

Even my Platinum fidelity policy excludes CV boots, so you did well to get it covered..

West Coast Assurance Company,
I was surprised as well, but i thought my service writer was reaching and I would get denied on the whole claim , but they covered it
