I think I have a set of lightly used Schnell tips that I will sell if you’re interested.

Have you considered the GT2 RS Style Tips?

808c2s - looks so good on your TTS! Your fitment looks perfect with the right angle, slice and tilt...is there a slight tip upward, or is that my imagination? Is this one of the adjustments that can be made? Is this the Signature Satin Finish tip from Soul Performance? To me, the tips in the product photo, don't look as aggressive as yours and almost look like round tips going straight back.

Was there a difference in exhaust tone?

Was the installation an easy one?

You've inspired me and thanks in advance. Mahalo.

Hey, out of curiosity, what's the deal with that date sticker thing everyone in Hawaii needs to have on the back of the car? Just took a trip to Maui and noticed them. (Usually hideously plastered crooked on the bumper.) What's it for, and any idea why it couldn't just be a small sticker on the license plate or rear window?

Thanks for the compliment. There's no tilting upward. It's just the angle of the camera. The SOUL GT2 RS Style tips are angled from the get go. So putting them on gives that GT2 RS angled look. The finish is Brushed. If you can change tires, you can put these on, no problem. I am quite pleased with how the tips turned out. Craftsmanship is really good. All for under $300 prior to shipping. As for sound, I can't really tell the difference between these and the TechArt tips I had prior.

The date sticker that you see is the Safety Check that all cars in Hawaii need to have. The rule states that these stickers are to be placed on the passenger side of the rear bumper. Of course, there are variations of that interpretation, such as what you see. The Safety Check sticker cannot be placed on the License Plate, but can be placed next to it on the passenger side of the rear bumper. It's illegal to place it anywhere else. That's Hawaii for ya.

Love the black tips. Are they an easy/direct replacement for the stock tips on a 2009? What is the cost for the pair? Thank you.

So what's the general consensus? Fabspeed? Schnell? Other? I read a lot of older posts that the Fabspeed tips would show their rainbow color after just a few heat cycles. Not sure about the others?

Yup, pretty easy once you squeeze the tool in to loosen up the clamps. Costs for the pair is $750+ shipping

They used to several years ago, but I haven't had any issues since they switched to a high quality PVD coating. Can't say the same for any of the others I just don't know them well enough

Thank you for choosing us and posting up pics! Cheers!

Here are more pics of our GT2 Style Bolt On Exhaust Tips! We're in talks with Jet Hot now about offering a ceramic coated black version as well. We're always happy to take care of Rennlist members if anyone has any questions or would like to try them out.

Is chrome an option or are there problems with a single walled tip?

Is there any difference in durability between the Signature Satin and Brushed?

Thanks in advance Mike!

We can easily produce the two finishes available in house, but chrome would involve an additional process. We're looking into the possibility of a chrome like finish from Jet Hot.

We are coating both tip finishes with a clear ceramic coating to encourage a longer lasting finish. The brushed finish can be redone with a skilled hand and abrasive pad / sand paper if need be - but would remove the ceramic coat in the process.
