Default Launch control function and tune

Okay, I've done a few mods to my 2012 cab - IPD plenum and Y pipe and removal of muffler and replaced with x pipe. Just did the IPD work last month and finally got around this weekend to do a few hard launches. I can tell there is more slip and wheel hop due to the increased hp and torque compared to stock. I'm considering a tune (probably Cobb) and I am wondering if launch control becomes useless with too much hp and torque. Thanks for any advice.

Ok so the IPD Plenum and Y-pipe actually helps with this car? I was told it doesn't do too much...

^ Depends on who you ask and who is doing the selling. I'm not sure I've seen definitive, real-world data to say one way or the other..

It’s an expensive instal, and they were night and day in my 987.1 Cayman S but if it’s going to help spool quicker or work better with my current mods I’d be ok with it

Seeing how turbos respond well to increased/better air flow, the Y pipe and plenum made a significant difference in my car, as it was pretty much stock except for a x pipe.
