I have the exact same problem! I recently had some aftermarket wheels powder coated and now they won't fit - they fit before. I failed to mention to the powder coater not to spray the back of the wheel (hub area and drive pin holes) I was told to use a dremel with a sanding wheel, and to take just a little off at a time. So, airplane paint remover worked well?
Yes! Airplane paint stripper worked perfectly. I also used a brass wire brush to agitate. It takes 2 applications... and do it outside as the stuff is extremely toxic. Good luck.
