Manual 997.2 - who bought recently?
I've read all the threads over the past 6 months of guys hunting for manual 997.2tt coupes and was wondering if anyone found any. I've only seen 3 for sale in 6 months, one has previous accident damage, and the other 2 have been on the market for a while at the dealer in New York. And none with sport chrono. Seems like a $20-30K premium over a manual cabrio or a PDK turbo 997.2, have guys given up and gone that route or 997 GT3 or is everyone still looking?

I bought mine in December 2016. Jumped on it very quickly as I had been waiting for the right car to pop up.
I've seen the two cars your talking about in person. One has sport chrono from the factory and the other had it retrofitted at the dealer (so no clock on the dash, but does give you overboost). If you’re somewhat local it may be worth going to take a look..

I bought mine in Sept. 2017. It was definitely a premium over a '12 Turbo S they also had for sale there and a substantial premium over a 997.1 TT in general. But a Guards red manual, 1-owner, CPO, all records and no stories car with all the desirable options (except PCCBs) at my local dealer was hard to pass up.

Bought in summer of 2016 within an hour or two of when the car was traded in and arrived at the dealership; it wasn't even in dealer inventory yet.
Currently 3 Canadian 997.2 Turbo 6 spds for sale at ~U$110k to U$150k asking; they've all been listed awhile with no sale at these prices. Have to see if they sell now that spring is here and another driving season is upon us.
The first one with the insane asking price has some light mods like exhaust and intake y pipe I believe.

Add another 10% ish buying off dealer for top two. The private sale I think has gone so that puts a no issues car with average miles and sport Chrono at around $120-130K usd. The horse has bolted.

I could be wrong, but I think the two you mentioned earlier can be had for less.

How could you tell that the 2012 had sport chrono added by the dealer, I couldn't find that in the description?
