My New 997 Turbo S - Picked it up yesterday!
 

This is my new (to me) 997 Turbo S that I picked up yesterday. Cant' even describe how happy I am with it! It's done 15k miles.

Yeah I love it too. Such a rare option, but it looks lovely IMO. One of my favourite things about that car.

Thanks man. I thought I'd get the usual pangs of guilt I do after most big purchases, but they haven't come yet. I just love the car so much I don't even care how expensive it was. I drove it to the station yesterday (I get the train to work) and I had a smile on my face my entire commute... Which is very unusual!

I got mine (only had it since December) in a nice accidental drift this weekend for the first time. Incredible rush. Felt in control the whole time.

I got mine in a semi-deliberate drift on Sunday and scared the ****e out of myself! But now I'm a bit more used to the car, I toe'd it coming round a little corner after some traffic lights and the back skipped out at about 60mph, but I felt fine about it. Once you start to get a feel for where/when you can put the power down, it's such good fun. But I need to budget for some new tyres I think lol.

Rare color combo, crazy beautiful looks. You will get A LOT of attention due to that interior. Way to go.... what else were you considering before you found this car? How long did you look? Do you plan on keeping it a super long time? I can't imagine ever selling my car. I love it so much. Kept my 96 C4S 13 years. This one should bring me into retirement and beyond.

Did you get a discount for the steering wheel on the wrong side? :)
