Default Introducing BloodyHell

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and the proud owner of a 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo, named BloodyHell. The specs are:

Suspension Mods: KW Club Sport Coilover Set, Tarret Front Top Mounts, RSS Front Adjustable Toe / Bump Steer Kit, Eibach Adjustable Front & Rear Anti Roll Bars

This is my early retirement gift to myself. I was seriously considering purchasing a new Corvette Z06, but this beauty was offered unexpectedly and I jumped at the deal. The purchase actually occurred in November, however, BloodyHell did not get NY plates until January. My work schedule has been hectic and the weather on Long Island has not been great on my RDOs. You may recognize BloodyHell, as there were a couple of threads about her. My first purchase will be new rims, which should arrive later this month. Pictures are below..

Hmmm.. the first mod, again will be new wheels. The second mod will be replacing the stock stereo. I need to have Sirius and bluetooth capability. If you have any recommendations for a stereo replacement, it will definitely be welcomed. Being a newbie to the Porsche world, I recently joined PCA. However, if there are other Porsche Clubs that are worthy of joining please advise and any Rennlist members on Long Island, respond to my thread. I have a good friend with a Guards Red Carrera and we plan on cruising when the weather gets better and warmer.

Congrats! Beautiful car. If you are going to get new wheels, I would recommend that you put snow tires on your current wheels and drive that baby through the winter months.

Beautiful and congrats! As a Guards red owner myself, I've been trying to come up with a devilish name as well, especially since the last 5 digits of my vin are 66613. The first owner must have been Satan himself which is no wonder why the car has such unnatural abilities. Would love to hear a clip of your BBi exhaust. I currently have on order and AWE exhaust for mine.

Where abouts on LI are you, I'm on the north shore?
Re the radio, if you want to maintain the factory unit, I'd use the Denison bt 500s, decent function, stream music and sat radio thru your phone. Otherwise looking at an aftermarket unit, but will lose some screen functions on the dash.
i have the Denison you're welcome to ck it out once the snow lets up

If you want to go full aftermarket radio etc check out car audio inovations (CAI). Based in California.
They have various packages you can set up, from a simple head unit replacement to anything you want.
I had an alpine head unit (ini-3300 or something) in mine when I bought it, with Bluetooth, backup camera, etc(problem with just a new head unit is you loose the fade control). The rear speakers were barely audible. If you do just a head unit replacement make sure it’s well balanced front and back before swapping. I hated the sound so ended up removing the factory AMP and installing a 1000W alpine amp I bought from CAI. They put a whole package together including all the wires etc I’d need. Wasn’t too bad install wise(DIY). Mounting the amp was the trickiest part(I put it under the factory cover and it looks stock in the frunk). Car sounds much better now. Maybe someday I’ll upgrade the speakers but right now it’s not needed.
