Love the Merc. My wife has a GL63AMG grocery-getter-kids-hauler. MB does lovely work with their interiors and comfort. You chose a great compliment for the 911.

Beautiful car, enjoy. Was your 12' a constant problem or just in the last few months of ownership? I've been looking into the 09-12' S65 as my next DD.

No, the 2012 MB S63 was a GREAT CAR! Loved it, was just ready for AWD and some other new goodies. I ended up getting the EXPEL and Ceramic coating. Looks great. Also got a new license plate frame for the Porsche in silver and a black one for the MB. LOVE these... https://ffgarage.com/collections/license-plate-frames

And took some new daily driver pics in my neighborhood... though in the summer and most of the spring and fall, the 911 is my DD since it's so much fun to drive and I've finally "let go" regarding putting miles on the car. It's my last 911... I do plan to keep it an awfully long time so miles won't really matter since I don't plan to sell it.

Still considering getting a NON BLACK wheel as the wheels are like... really dark but each deal I've found, the seller has changed their mind. This is the wheel I hope to eventually get and replace my current wheels with. Unless I change my mind and just rock the sinister look permanently.

The guy that owns these may sell... he just has to take new pics. They're not cheap, but not dealer "NEW" pricing of $8k for the set of 4. They're $4660 with 1000 miles on them. It's still a real lot.

Snow pics with the 911, having the Suntek Ultra put on the car in my garage and ... the crazy MSRP sticker with the $10400 upcharge for grey paint ($7900 plus $2500 for custom order)

Congrats on the new car. Sometimes you just have to go for it. Looks great. Enjoy it!

I think the black looks great as well but the mercedes 5 spoke are just perfect, it's quite an accomplishment that a stock wheel beats all the aftermarket options in my opinion. I am also looking for a set for my G.

Thanks for the advice. I think the 5 spoke wheels look good too but may make the car look a bit more like an "old man's car" according to friends so I'm going to rock the black wheels for a while or maybe even a few years (or the life of the vehicle). I took some iPhone quickie night shots tonight of the interior... the 2008 S63 I had was nice inside, the 2012 S63 was nicer but this 2018 is like a party is going on inside. It's kind of a cross between Studio 54, Disneyworld and a high priced bordello.
