Default weekend fun

Spring has been peeking out in NY. Had some fun out and about with the TT over the weekend. Messed around with the go-pro a bit and stopped by my buddies warehouse to check out some new cars he just got in. Found two of my cars long lost sisters...

His place is in Hempstead. The video clip is near Hempstead lake by the southern state.

650, that AWE exhaust sounds awesome, is it catless? I’d like something like that but don’t think I want to go fully catless.

Edit: I just checked the website and it’s catted and CEL guaranteed. This is the best sounding exhaust I have heard for the 997.2TT imo. Most others have left me wanting to stay stock, lol. Price $4000-4300 per the website.

I did a lot of research on different exhausts before making my decision. This video is one of the things that really sold me. After looking at a bunch of different clips on youtube I found a very noticeable difference in sound between the true full 3"+ systems that are out there (AWE, BBi, GMG) and the systems running smaller diameter tubing. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with AWE. The quality is top notch, no CEL, and the sound speaks for itself.

After seeing your above video, I contacted a local P indy shop today about doing an install. I also watched all the vids online and they all just sounded too muted to me unless fully catless which I prefer not to do. This one just sounds incredible. Looks great too (in both dual and quad tips), I am not really a fan of the stock exhaust tips.

Love the look of the RSR/GT2 style tips. Was definitely a selling point for me...

Same here re RSR tips but unfortunately those are currently out of stock so I'll have to go with either silver or black quad tips. I'm thinking silver although black would better hide the exhaust soot.
