looks good, think I am going to get a set.
These do look great behind the bumper and I think that is the way I am going to go. I actually purchased a set of Zunsports in black and while they look great also I want the behind-the-bumper set-up.

Thanks,

G.

Hi guys, the black car posted by skyak is mine which has the Rennlines -- I really like the protection and the look. Tons of road debris and leaves around here at certain (ok all) times of year. The install is a 'pain' because as you know, the whole front bumper needs to come off including the headlights, wheels and part of the wheel-well and underbody plastic trim. So it's not difficult but takes several hours for a first-timer. Lots of fasteners.

I have a set of Zunsports that I bought about a year ago. I never installed them because everytime I tried, I scratched the bumper up. I want to install them but is there some trick? For the guys who have successfully installed them, did you scratch your bumper?

No I don't think I scratched up the bumper openings pushing them in but I had to push hard to get them far enough back to get the clips to hook over the bumper's back edges. I also had to bend a few of the clips to engage properly - the center section snapped in easily but the each of the two side pieces was a bit of battle to get the last clip fastened.

I should have painted the clips body color with touchup paint or spray paint first so then it would look like the grills are floating rather than seeing the black mounting clips (especially the bottom ones which are easily seen).

I wound up going with the Rennlines after first purchasing a set of Zunsports in black. I am going to post them for sale but thought someone here might want them first. They are brand new- original box- obviously never installed.

Thanks,

G.

I had no scratch issues.
