Are you insinuating there are much fewer .2 MT cars for sale vs .1 MT cars because the .2 cars are much more desirable? I'm not here to debate .1 vs .2, but the fact there are 10 times more .1 MT cars for sale correlates nicely to the fact there were nearly 10 times more produced...... hmmm........

4610 997.1 MT vs 488 997.2 MT

I can't believe this is even up for debate. I thought it was widely accepted black turbos are the fastest.

... not many DFIs out there ... call it what you will. .1 cars are 75K. .2 are significantly more $$$$

Everyone knows the DFI 6mt coupes are way harder to find and cost more. Not sure why you feel the need to try to insult the .1 TT crowd as if they wasted money picking a lame duck instead of the glorious .2.

Exclamation

my apologies to everyone reading this thread... I didn't mean to devalue the .1 vs the .2,,, all that really is important is that they have a TT and MT designation (and that it is silver)...I had clearly gotten my threads mixed up.....(and probably either a second or third Jefferson's Ocean hadn't helped) … I am stepping away from the keyboard.

No disrespect taken to the statement above. I purposely bought my 09' 6spd MT 997.1 over a .2 since its the last of the Mezger, last TT car built by Porsche and has the updated infotainment of the .2's. I'm a happy camper with my decision...

.1, .2 whatever. We are all lucky ****** to have what we have hahaha.

But having said that, as the evidence proves .1s in black are faster. Just facts.

It's been a TT since at least the 993 era since it was huge to have twin turbos vs one big one.
