I had a 2012 gts4 PDK for 2-1/2 years as my daily driver. It's a phenomenal car. I traded it for an f80 M3....I missed the GTS4 so much I traded the m3 for a 16 GTS. The 16 GTS was so soft and heavy and large feeling that I now have a 2013 turboS daily.
The turbo S is basically the same car, just a lot faster. It's been a few years, but the turbo S may be ever so slightly more compliant...but certainly not soft like the 991... with as difficult as it is to find a nice 997 GTS4, I'd say just grab a turbo, BUT if you want a stick...and a 997.2....the GTS may be the car for you.

Can't really go wrong either way...997 are the sweet spot for modern Porsche's

Edit: I'm in Chicago, so when I say daily, I MEAN daily....winter, summer and everything in between....these cars are easily the best snow cars I've ever owned!

I was able to find a 12 GTS 4 coupe. It would be here next week. Putting a clear bra and update service at ParkPlace when it arrives.

405 hp is enough for fun. Ill settle for 300 hp if its stick. But with 3 kids, I want a sort of special car thats not a 2 seater as I drive with my 3 kids. That why a GT3 is not an option. Anyway, my RS would be my choice for a 2 seater.

I would like to have memories with my kids on my dream cars instead of riding with them one at a time.

I wish I can stop here but I am again on the hunt for my next 997.

Did you pick up the silver with black interior one? I think a Subaru/Toyota dealer was selling it. Nice car, and if you don't mind me asking, did they have any negotiating room on that price. It was priced quite fairly but I figured they probably had some room to come down on it.

Edit, just saw your signature says a guards red one. Congrats on the purchase.

I would say, the market right now for a GTS is similar with a 997 TT 2 years ago, a lot sitting and priced on the top end, making it open to negotiations. It took me a month to negotiate and still ended getting it. It means it was slow.
Another thing that worked for me (I think), the car was listed on the C4S section of cars.com so I think it did not get much hits. Good for me.
