Not a fan of the Vossens, but a rare bird indeed!

Looks clean. I like macademia but realistically the brown + Tip + cab combo should bring the price down a fair amount versus a 6mt coupe in a more desirable color.

Rare does not necessarily mean desirable. Brown exterior, brown interior, tiptronic and convertible. This is probably the best possible combination of options to ensure a resale nightmare. I'd say the Vossens are the best part about this car!

I like the color. They only made 25 Cabs in 09 that color as well.

Me likee! My CTT is Macadamia, it's a rare color and looks great even when dirty.

I love the color combo but would not want a Tip or cab. Weird, there’s another 09 for sale near me, same color combo, Tip, but a coupe vs. cab.

Like the the color combo, but would avoid the tip cab combo. Nothing wrong with it, just my personal preference. If you do buy it, get it for a good price and you should be good to go.

To each their own, but me,

Saw a Macadamia in person when they came out. Did not fall in love. They look better in sunlight.

Tip, have one to go with my two titanium hips.

Cab, gave those up after many years of skin exposure with cabs myself. Good thing, had some pre cancerous sqamish cells scooped and scoped.

Other than that, beautiful car and looks pristine.

As the prior owner of a Macadamia Brown Metallic 997.1 turbo cabriolet, I think it looks great! Macadamia Brown is a wonderful color and you'll most likely never see another one. I'm not a Tiptronic fan, but if that's what you want, then go for it. It also has the OE solid red tail lights, which look very nice with Mac. Great car.

I like the color combination quite a bit, but the tip and cab are both deal-killers for me. Despite my appreciation for the color combination, I would have mild concerns about resale, enough to penalize it slightly. But if 6MT and coupe at a reasonable price, I'd pull the trigger and not look back.

Original poster: Are you looking to buy it? What else are you looking at? Is the car you REALLY REALLY want? If so, get it! If not, pass! Personally, it doesn't do it for me, color-wise and I would never own another convertible, but that's just me.

Not looking to buy it. I just like to hear peoples opinions on rare colored cars.

My favorite observation is when people react to Peridot.

I like the color, but I associate it more with a luxury car than a sports car. That said, the fact this it's an uncommon color for a 911 appeals to me. I prefer to have less common colors for my vehicles.
