Default Porsche Sport Exhaust for 997 Turbo?

As I'm contemplating different options for the exhaust for my 997 Turbo, I don't think I've seen anyone discuss the Porsche Sport Exhaust for the 997 Turbo? Is this even an option? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.

The PSE for the 997tt platform does not exist.

That'll explain why I can't find any information on it. Thanks for the quick response.

I'd guess the Europipe Stage 1 (EP1) is probably as close as you could get to a (non-existent) factory sport exhaust in terms of overall design, appearance and sound.

Armytrix, Capristo and others make a 997 turbo exhaust with actuated valves that would be the equivalent of a PSE system if I interpret your question correctly.

Valves closed is quiet and when the valves open some exhaust bypasses the muffler producing more power presumably and more exhaust noise for sure.

Yes. Before making a final decision, I wanted to know if there was an option to make the exhaust quieter. I had the PSE on a 2007 997S, and I liked having that option. Thanks.

Ditto here - The EP2 has a very low deep rumble inside the car, but not overly/obnoxiously loud, in fact I regularly drive with the windows down even when cold out so I can hear the engine/exhaust more!

After installation my mechanic said something like..."wow, that thing lined-up absolutely perfectly and the hardware and packaging are immaculate"...paraphrasing but you get the gist

I recently installed this Tubi system without cats. The sound clip won't do it justice, plus I'm bad at adding videos, but here's my attempt.
No drone either, just a low down meaningful growl. When you hit it all hell breaks loose. Awesome system.

Check out our 997 Turbo Supersport X-Pipe - available as a Catbypass or with premium HJS 200 Cell Sport Cats.

Our Supersport X-Pipe is a great middle ground between our Maxflo Exhaust and Muffler Bypass that gives you a nice aggressive, throaty tone without being overbearing as ultimately the turbos still mask some of the sound. Frees up approx. +25whp/30ft-lbs as well.
