Default Seatbelt Extender Question

The drivers side seatbelt couplings in my CTT and TTS sit below the right side bolster and are difficult to reach when inserting my seatbelt. It's not a fat or overweight thing and I'm sure you'll agree with me especially when you're in a hurry to buckle-up. I was wondering if anyone has tried a seatbelt extension to cure this? I've done a little research and it appears there is nothing unique about Porsche seatbelt couplings that would require the purchase of a Porsche-specific extender which BTW Porsche does not make. Comments?

If you can find one with solid reviews or from a reputable company, then go for it. I for one would most likely just continue to leave it as is just due to the safety aspect of it, and I would be too nervous to play around with anything of that nature. I haven't noticed this particular issue in my car but I have electronic ventilated seats, and your car with the Adaptive Sport Seats might hide the seat belt receptor a bit more.
