I am considering installation of non-oem (no air bag) seats like Recaro Pole Position, Recaro Sportster CS, etc. Will doing this fully disable the airbag system in a 997.1 Turbo? Will there be idiot lights on all the time? Can either of those issues be addressed with Durametric Pro or PWSIS?

Sounds like it should be possible to disable side air bag light and passenger weight sensor without shutting down the entire air bag system. Would be nice to know if anyone has successfully done the same in a 997.1 turbo.
