Default Guards Red '08 turbo for sale in Houston

Checked out this car the other day since it was local. For anyone interested.

WP0AD29928S783943

https://www.xsellmotors.com/vehicle-...tx-id-21844394

One owner car purchased new in Houston, traded in at local dealer, no service records available, carfax shows car has been maintained but not where.
Car is optioned pretty good. Interior leather needs some recondition. Seats little wear and tear and some staining. Wear on doors and seat belt area on driver side. Overall reasonable condition.
Exterior several smaller dents, counted 4. Front bumper has been resprayed. No other evident paintwork.
Spoiler is non functional, leaks on both rams.
Both front axle need to be replaced, boots torn all sorts of road debris.
Oil leak right side valve cover.
Small coolant leak. Need to be pinned.
Clutch is toast, slipping bad in 3rd and up.
Tires are several years old and have a season left.
DME looks pretty good, several type 3 and 1 type 4, probably anomaly.
Completely stock car, no evidence of aftermarket parts or tune.

Dealer will not budge. My opinion, car is priced low for obvious reason, mileage. Dealer unaware of all issues.

Also, dealer had car for sale 6 months ago for $53xxx, now asking $59K.

Hope this helps someone looking at this vehicle.

All you bargain hunters talking about low-priced 997.1TT's, come and get it!

Conservative guess: between clutch, other outstanding maintenance, detailing, and other cosmetic upgrades, easily talking $10-15K.

^ agree.. sometimes these cars end up being sad stories if some unsuspecting buyer thinks WOW, I can get into a TT in the 50s.. and then has a huge repair bill..

86000 miles and doesn't look well maintained so as noted above somebody is going to need to spend a lot of money to bring it back to a reasonable shape.

Oh all rotors need to be replaced as well. The lack of maintenance and issues are going to cost at least 10k to make the car right, which places you in a lower mileage possibly better maintained turbo. I would pass on this one.

A little off-topic, but I love your profile picture! Rear is the best viewing angle for the wide-body 911's, though I particularly like the lower angle of your photo, which really accents the wide hips.

Great car! Wouldn’t cost me more than 4K to get it all done. Do my own work. Diamond in the rough.

It's the right car for someone. But, for my taste, poorly maintained is a (guards) red flag. Shame on the dealer for not fixing it up prior to sale. But then again... they aren't stupid, just like a casino.

This poor car has been neglected. Who would spend that type of coin on a fixer-upper? Can get into a lower mileage, well-maintained car for a little more...run away!

I think it's an ok car. There's really no such thing as a cheap turbo, either pay up front or later.I suspect for 10k more you could find a lower mile, cleaner example,

Use this URL and replace the VIN # (WP0AD2A97AS766329) at the end with your vehicle's VIN # and see if it works for your region.

A car has its price and this car is difficult to price.

$59 plus repairs will push this to atleast 70-75. Then would it look like a comparable $70k car with 20k miles? No.

It would find a buyer, just not me.
