Default 997.1 TT front turn signals vs aftermarket DRL's

I posted a WTB in the member classifieds for 997.1TT, OEM front turn signals that attach to the front bumpers. Has anyone installed the
aftermarket LED turn signals that also function as DRL's? There's a supplier in UK that sells a set ( approx $350) that looks
decent and with pretty good install/wiring instructions. I prefer to just install an OEM set, and deal with that, but brand new
OEM are $540 EACH!!! @ suncoast, holy cow. anywho, if a fellow RL'r has a working used set, or just the passenger side , shoot me a PM.
I am slo going to try LAP or the place in OK.

cheers
Ed

I was looking at getting a smoked set from Ebay, and then having the dealership code them to act as DRL

The aftermarket turn signal DRLs are not put together well. The ones I had were not sealed perfectly and when washing the car would allow some moisture to seep in causing them to fog up. Eventually one of the turn signals failed so I went back to my OE turn signals. They look awesome when they work but in my opinion, they are not worth the money in the end because they are fabricated in Taiwan and will eventually fail.
